FAQ for Contests:
Q: Why are some of the contests in the contest directory highlighted in
Green or Blue colors?
A: These are the contests that you have voted in and/or contests you have
entered into.
Q: Can I search for contests?
A: Yes. Use the search box on the top right of the page. You can
alternatively use the drop down menu to refine your search based on the
category of a contest.
Q: Do I need to pay to vote?
A: No, voting is free.
Q: How do I vote in a contest?
A: You must be a registered user of the site in order to vote. After
you register (by clicking on the Register Free link and filling out the
registration form), log into the site. Once you are logged in, click on the "Contest
Directory" link. Click on the name of a contest in which you would like to
vote. Next, you will see a page that displays the Contest Rounds. As you
move the cursor over the match boxes, you will notice that some boxes are
hyperlinked. The column of hyperlinked match boxes (the ones in orange
color) indicates the current
stage of the contest, such as the Preliminary round, Semi-Final round, and
so on.
To vote, click on the individual match boxes. This will take you to a page
where you can review the contestants in each match. Once you are ready,
click on "Vote". A small window will pop up to verify that you wish to
submit your vote for this contestant. Click on the "Yes" button only when
you are confident that you wish to vote for this contestant as you may not
change or cancel your vote once it has been submitted. Repeat the steps above
to vote in other matches.
Q: What Time Zone are the times of the contests?
A: All times on our site are Pacific Standard Time. (PST)
Q: Do I have to vote for all the matches in a contest round?
A: No. You can vote in as few or as many matches in a contest round as you
like. Keep in mind, though, that the more votes you submit,
the more sweepstakes
entries you earn and the greater your chance of winning the sweepstakes
grand prize and other secondary prizes like NET10 phones.
Q: What does it mean when a Contest Round has ended?
A: A contest Round ends at a time specified in the Contest Details page or
on the Contest Round page. When a
Contest Round is completed, that means winners of each match automatically
move to the next Round and the other contestants are eliminated.
Q: What is “Start Date”?
A: Contest Start Date is when a contest starts and voting is allowed in the
matches. Once the start
date and time is reach, the first Round of the tournament will begin.

voted for. After you vote in a contest, you will receive one of three
tick
marks. A Yellow
tick mark indicates a contest that is In Progress, and no winner has been
determined yet in that round. Once a contest round has ended, the
tick mark will change to either Green or
